This is my first time I am writing book review in English at the Simania. I read the book in English and I though this is a great opportunity to practice on my English.

The story takes place in Unites States of the near future. When every year twelve boys and twelve girls are forced to appear in a reality TV shows called The Hunger Games. The Participants support to kill each other and the only one who stay alive wins the games.

One of the Participants is Katniss Everdeen 16 years old girl. Katniss lives with her mother and younger sister in district 12 (one of the 12 districts that each of them send every year one girl and one boy). She is the one who takes care of her family. She is hunter and very skilled in bow and elbow. When the games start Katniss takes her younger sister place in the games and she must fight to survive.

I like the book because we learn that when we have hard time, we need to get over and face with the reality. It is connected to this period when Israel must fight the Coronavirus. Katniss the main character also must face with a hard reality and period, when she can die, or she kills someone. The Hunger Games and the Coronavirus are different. The Coronavirus is plague and the Hunger Games is cruel reality TV shows. But the common is both hard period and people die in both periods. Also, I like Katniss character. she is very intelligence and strong. She has special point of thinking and view.

The book is amazing, thrilling, exciting and sad. I recommend reading the book.
