I had the pleasure of reading Erez Casif’s book and this attempt, to reduce a meaningful historical event to its most fundamental human level is quite disturbing. When those great political powers, in which we put our electoral trust, are reduced to their most selfish, power hungry manipulative selves, it portrays a really historical event unfold. It reminds us, again, that all moments in history have a flesh and blood and bone and real people with their own narrow view behind them.
The first two chapters are difficult and almost meaningless to the layman reader but the rest of the book has a real story in it. And Dr Casif is a competent and interesting story teller.
Definitely worth reading if history is of an interest to you.
