In this story, Annie is a very smart student. She loves reading and solving puzzles and even can do some math problems faster than her brother, who is older than she is. But Annie has trouble organizing her schoolwork and remembering what to do, and sometimes she is awfully forgetful.

With the help of her parents, teacher and guidance counselor, Annie is able to become more organized and, after some improvement, she even gets to be a teaching assistant! Annie likes her new role and she likes even more when her parents and her teacher are proud of her accomplishments. Annie’s key to success is her ability to follow an orderly ten-point plan each day for schoolwork and for homework. Some of her tasks in school include doing work in a quiet area and being sure to listen to her teacher, while at home she makes sure to prioritize her assignments and keep a neat backpack. Annie finds that she is far less frustrated when she follows her plan.
