Fischer, which discusses whether tort suits can be joined with divorces was overruled; the supplement includes the new case. Similarly People v. Garcia, a Ca. marital rape case, was addressed through new legislation. Two important new cases regarding evidence are included, Davis v. Washington (U.S. 2006), and People v. Giles (Cal, 2007) (cert. granted 1/08). A firearms case going to the Supreme Court in spring 2008, U.S. v. Edward Hayes (4th Cir. 2007), is also included.
