Since 1980, DAM, or German Architecture Museum, has been
publishing its prestigious yearbook on German architecture.
This newest volume features an exciting layout, with generous
space given to the twenty featured projects by German
architects and three projects outside of Germany. This volume
also includes two illuminating essays that examine Germany s
contemporary architecture scene and the new buildings being
planned in China. The book will open with the winner of the
year s DAM Architecture Prize, the Kolumba museum in
Cologne by Peter Zumthor.
