This book discusses the impact of the sub-prime crisis, what may ensue, what should ensue and how the industry can extract value from an apparent disaster. It deals with the impact of technologies, both hard (e.g. information and communication technologies) and soft (new ways of working, e.g. teleworking) and the impact caused by the waves of change as a result of the climate change juggernaut, including threats (e.g.reaction against globalization) and opportunities (e.g. cost reductions from adoption of greener technologies, buildings and ways of working).

It considers and discusses the impact of demographic change.
