A Woman's Agenda has become an essential planner for thousands of busy women. It's practical and portable, with an hourly appointment schedule for each day, a week at a glance, and ample space for notes and contact information. The 2008 edition, like its predecessors, is enriched by profiles of twelve notable women who represent many fields of accomplishment: the arts, business, social activism, politics, sport and science. Each profile includes a brief biography, photographs of the subject and some inspiring quotations by and about the women whose work is featured. This year's subjects include African American entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker; Canada's first Muslim woman MP, Yasmin Ratansi; Mary Robinson, Irish leader and human rights activist; and eight other women who have made, or are still making, a difference in our world.
