In Mulberry's Field, Edgar is betrayed by all his friends and even his own brother as they laugh at him and tell him he is too small to fly their kite. Soon enough, however, Edgar, Elvis, and all their friends learn a valuable lesson about friendship and the error of judging people by appearances.
