The book begins with the discovery of an insignificant icon at a little antique dealer in Tallin, Estonia. During an intensive examination of this 300 year old painting the author found another icon, hidden under the actual icon and a black oil layer, the now famous Rakh Icon. This work describes in all details in an exciting style underlined by many photographs and historic documents the chronological and thematic classification of this unique artwork. The descriptive style is powerful and at the same time easy understandable for normal amateur.
