Cracker slept under Jake’s bed almost every night. It was warm and cozy and it made her feel safe to hear Jake’s gentle snoring as she dreamed her cat dreams. Each night when the house was quiet and sleepy, she would creep from her hiding place in the basement, behind the boxes, and under the stairs.
