There are many times when I will write something and immediately wish to crumple up the page and toss it away. I do not want anyone to read it. This is usually the sign that inspires me to include a piece in my book. In my experience, writing is about exposing things that would otherwise remain hidden. Writing is about shedding light and surmounting fears. The process feels like I am outing myself again and again. This is the basis for writing this book. Do well, my friends. Fear not the journey.
