תקציר הספר
Everyone endures waiting--often impatiently, sometimes anxiously, and sometimes with giddy excitement. Fred Cloud and friends share some of their prayers and reflections from waiting times. These times run the gamut from waiting for the computer to boot up and waiting inline at the post office, to waiting for a baby to be born and waiting for a friend to die. And we wait not just for our personal agendas; we wait for the kingdom of God. And we wait for specific changes in our world--repeal of the death penalty, better inner-city schools, restoration of the church universal. Whether for ourselves, for our circle of family and friends, or for church and society, waiting presents the opportunity to turn to God in prayer. Waiting provides examples and inspiration for how to use such times.
